Nowadays, many people complain of this problem, and most of the solution is to avoid the things that make it worse, one of which is to identify the foods that make it worse. Although these foods often vary from person to person, in general the following foods are often preferred for people with this problem; they are:-

* White rice, white rice helps to reduce the number of H. Pylorus, the bacterium that plays a major role in causing this problem, and prevent the formation of new wounds

* Ginger, ginger reduces this problem by promoting faster digestion and passage of food, and by reducing stomach acidity because it has alkaline properties, and also reduces internal ulcers in the stomach

* Drink enough water, especially in the morning on an empty stomach

  6. Potatoes in their raw form do not contain any gluten and are therefore perfectly suitable for Coeliacs and anyone with special dietary needs. What you do need to be careful about is how they are prepared as any additional ingredients used could contain gluten, providing a 'back door' for them.
