Girls Abdominal Pain during Menstruation (Periods)

Abdominal or uterine pain during menstruation is very common in women. Many women are affected by this disease. There is always a slight pain during the menstrual cycle. However, in some women the pain is very severe and many women miss school or their normal jobs and do not work legally.

The pain is divided into two parts, namely:

1- Type (Primary dysmenorrheal):- this is not related to uterine disease.

2- This type (Secondary dysmenorrheal) is associated with uterine disease.

Menstrual pain, which is not related to uterine disease, occurs for the first time 1-2 years after menstruation and occurs in women aged 14-24 and decreases with age . . . . The pain lasts from the day before their period to 2-3 days during their period. Menstrual pain caused by uterine disease continues for one to two weeks before menstruation, during menstruation and after menopause.

The disease develops with age (after 30-40 years). They may also experience pain during sexual intercourse and ejaculation.

Primary Dysmenorrheal Usually goes away on its own, but if the pain is persistent or very severe, the following may help.

Drink plenty of water (up to 6–8 glasses a day), Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables Eg: tomatoes, ginger, avocados etc. Take a shower with hot water immediately, Exercise lightly, Drink hot water 'is after heating, dip it in a little cloth (fox) and take it out or pour it in “highland ” and gently whisper on the sore spot, Get enough sleep, Take pain relievers like Ibuprofen, Indomethacin, diclofenac etc. as well occasionally take obliterated family savings (OCP) medications. Provide psychological help, and the person who does this (Father, mother, Brother/s, Husband and boyfriend etc.)

If you have done all this and the pain persists and the pain is secondary dysmenorrheal, you should go to the clinic and consult a physician.
